New Level in Durability
Internationally regulated by extremely strict, specific and exact testing procedures, equipment and methods, there are three tests that manufacturers commonly use to measure the durability of the products they produce. While many, many other factors come into play when creating a finish (i.e. flow and leveling, sheen, ease of use, stain compatibility, dry times) durability is a very important aspect. These tests (which again are regulated by international standards, guidelines and procedures) are broken down into three categories, Abrasion Resistance, Scratch Resistance, and Chemical Resistance.
