Velvet New Product!

Single component, waterborne, NMP-free polyurethane finish with low VOC and S-XL (Self Cross-Linking System) technology. Velvet is partly formulated with renewable raw materials and for this reason, it is ideal for use in biohousing and building work. The appearance of floors treated with Velvet is completely natural and, moreover, they have a unique, velvety feel to the touch. Thanks to its high solid content and the extraordinary speed with which it dries, it can be used for extremely fast finishing cycles: the first coat is applied to the wood, there is an interval of 1-2 hours according to environmental conditions, the floor is lightly sanded and then the second and final coat is applied.

Another very important characteristic is the ease with which the floor can be touched up. If the surface is damaged in any way, or if there are any localized faults, the floor can be touched up just in the affected area. The area simply has to be marked off with some tape, then sanded and the finish can be reapplied. When the floor has dried, there are no traces of marks or imperfections. For rooms with heavy traffic, it is advisable to add 10% of Velvet Improver to the final coat.
